Flood 20th Oct 2023….Cllr Natalie Robinson provided an update on how the Thurgarton Emergency Plan (TEP) had worked after many parts of the village were flooded. A debrief and lessons learnt meeting was held on 22nd Oct where most of the flood and road closure wardens attended. Actions were agreed in order to improve the TEP and many would only be possible if more volunteers were found. This is the first time that the TEP has been utilised in a real flood event and the results were so much better than without it. If you feel that you can volunteer in any way then please make this known to the Clerk at clerk@thurgarton.org.uk
